Breath is Life

To be alive is to breathe, but it's not just passive - at least we're better (healthier) if it's not.

Breath is everything.

I don't know how that hits you - do you rolls your eyes, exhale, and think: "One more person talking about that garbage!"?

Do you think: "Nothing more true!"?

Or are you somewhere in between?

To be alive is to breathe.

It is an automatic thing.

It is a gift.

And it is something we can participate in, that is we can influence how we breathe.

Our breathing also provides us information.

We will be unpacking breathing here in the LYHL MVNT newsletter and YouTube channel. We'll discuss stressed breathing, efficient breathing, breathing approaches, and benefits to breathing well.

Coming soon will be instructional videos on BREATHING RIGHT incorporating such concepts I've developed as LQEB (Low Quiet Easy Breathing).

We will also explore how to incorporate breath work into physical healing and movement work.

Can you take a moment any respond to these quick questions?

  • Do you have an awareness of your breathing throughout the day?

  • Can you change how you're breathing when you want to?

  • Do you have a breathing practice?

  • Do you incorporate breathing awareness and techniques into you daily movements and activities?

  • What specific questions do you have about breathing?

Rooting for you.

Talk soon.
